What you offer us?


We have a unique opportunity to come and join the team at Portobello pubs.


We are currently looking for a versatile and flexible sous chef to be able to work across two sites, Thursday to Sunday each week. You will spend your time at the iconic Effra Social Thursday to Saturday, assisting the head chef with providing some of the best small plates and party food around. Then, on Sunday, you will head up Sunday service at the small, but perfectly formed King and Co in Clapham, giving the people of SW4 and beyond the perfect Sunday roast.


This is a new role, one that we have never recruited for before, we want someone to become the first to join us as we continue our food journey for both Effra Social and King and Co.
