We are seeking a dynamic and organized Reservations Manager/Host to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Reservations Management:
- Utilise the Collins platform to manage and organise reservations efficiently.
- Respond to reservation enquiries via phone and email, ensuring all customer needs are met.
- Maintain up-to-date reservations information and communicate with staff regarding seating arrangements and special requests. Liaising directly with our sales manager on any substantial bookings
Guest Hosting:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements.
- Provide information about the menu, special offerings, and any upcoming events.
- Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience by checking in periodically and addressing any concerns promptly.
Phone Competency:
- Answer phone calls in a professional and friendly manner, providing accurate information about reservations, menu items, and general inquiries.
- Handle booking changes or cancellations efficiently while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the bar, floor and kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive team environment.
- Assist with training new staff on the reservation process and guest hosting duties as needed.
- Help Sales Manager with local activations and events.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in using reservation management systems, particularly Collins, is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work set hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 12 PM - 8 PM.
