Chef de Partie - Knowles of Norwood


Knowles of Norwood is a proper neighbourhood pub with a great kitchen team. We focus on seasonal ingredients, honest cooking, and a team that actually enjoys working together. We’re looking for a Chef de Partie who takes pride in their craft and wants to grow within a strong kitchen brigade.

What you’ll bring


As a Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section during busy services and help lead the kitchen when things are quieter.

  • You will be a key part of the brigade and trusted to keep standards high every single service.
  • You will also have the chance to contribute to menu development and weekly specials. We want chefs who take pride in the food they cook and enjoy putting their stamp on the menu.
  • No gimmicks here. No foams, gels or smears. Just proper cooking with great ingredients, done well, every time. Our menus change with the seasons, and our specials should show creativity, personality and flair.
  • You will be supported by our Sous Chef and Head Chef, and in return we expect you to mentor junior chefs and KP’s, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
  • Through training days and guidance from our Group Executive Chef and Area Chefs, we will give you the tools and experience needed to progress and, one day, run your own kitchen.
