Who are we?
Where it all began for Portobello pubs. Small but perfectly formed, a hidden gem located away from the main drag of Clapham Common.
18 beer taps tells you that we are all about craft. With some cracking house pours from our very own brewery, the line up is completed with some of London’s finest craft beer offerings in both keg and cask.
We are all about variety and this is echoed in our food offer. This isn’t any old kitchen, we host some of London’s finest street food vendors, with the food offer changing up every 6 weeks or so. Always something different to try, you will always be spoilt for choice.
Our loyal locals complete our perfect pub, King and Co really is at the heart of the Clapham community. Expect quiz nights, live music, and our famous mix tape night are staples through the month, with other special events thrown in at any opportunity.
Everyone that walks through the doors at King and Co really count themselves lucky to have such a great local.
What we are looking for?
Due to a well deserved internal promotion, we are looking for someone to take the reigns at King and Co.
King and Co is truly at the heart of the community, so the next General Manager needs to be the face of this business. You will need to lead and inspire your team with a passion for food and craft beers.
Remember, this isn’t any old kitchen, you will be heavily involved in finding the brightest stars of London street food. You will put your heart and soul into this role and continue to make King and Co the success it deserves.
You will work closely with the operations team and be fully responsible for the pub’s P+L. We are always looking for new talent, so it is key that you nurture and train your small and passionate team and create that “strong bench”.
